I'm busy working on a four issue mini-series, and took a little break to color a page of the "Randy the Ragamuffin" comic I had made. You can purchase the black and white comic in my etsy shop.
Randy is so silly.

Spinner's End
"Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince" written by J.K.Rowling, Chapter 2 "Spinner's End" pg 22, american edition.
I love watercolors and the translucency of the colors. It's why I love my original paintings way more than these digital scans because they never seem to convey the colors quite as accurately nor the way the light reflects off of them. Recently, I started delving into hand-dyeing my yarns. I'm really enjoying the process.
Here's an example of yarn I over-dyed with Kool-Aid. It started off a bright Teal blue color and I darkened it with yellows, blues, and purples.

McLaughlin
This is a quick sketch I drew on Sunday morning while watching the McLaughlin Group. I finally got around to inking it. I've been busy with commissions.
:D
I finished making a very light shawl for myself. It's made out of lace merino. It's warm yet light and big considering I only had one skein of this particular yarn (about 405 yards). It's so lovely to wear ^^
I have one other shawl that I've made and it's aran acrylic. Heavy. Kind of hot. Not the greatest. I think I want to make myself one more shawl out of dk wool/merino and make it HUGE. The wingspans on both of these shawls is 60". I want something a bit larger to really wrap/snuggle up in for especially the winter. It gets a bit drafty at my drawing table.

Ginger
I really enjoy these small paintings. They're like little notes I write to myself.
This one measures 3"x2.25", though a little smaller if you don't count the border. I plan on adding it to my Etsy shop later on.
Another thing I'm really loving right now is knitting with my merino yarn. It's so soft. I own a couple of random skeins of wool in too too bright colors and I can not wait to finish working on the projects I have lined up because I plan on dyeing those oddball skeins... with KOOLAID... it's gonna be so much fun! :D

Boy Wizard
I took a small break from comics and my commissions to paint this. I love "The Unwritten."
Tommy Taylor is a boy wizard from the comic book, The Unwritten, written by Mike Carey and illustrated by Peter Gross.
Here's a review I wrote for Volume 4 of the collected trade paperback.
Now, I'm off to work on more comics :)
