Finally, I was able to get a painting done for myself. These past few months I was hired to illustrate a graphic novel. The letterer is adding letters now and the colorist is coloring my cover. I'll keep everyone informed as the book gets closer to publication.
Another thing that is keeping me busy is preparations for my trip to California. I will be attending the Writers and Illustrators of the Future workshop and award ceremony at the end of August. I'm so excited to go to the workshop. I'm looking forward to meeting all the other illustrators and writers that are attending.
